• Learning self-hypnosis (alone and with a partner)
• Transforming fears into confidence and competence
• The birth process / stages / optimal birthing positions
• Managing contractions (waves) – breathing techniques
• Reading and understanding the body
• Birth plan + individual exercises

Goals

• Recognize, understand, and trust the birth process as a natural process
• A clear, newly developed, proactive vision of birth will emerge—beyond the feeling of “being at the mercy of others.”
• Knowing, clearly communicating, and providing targeted support for the pregnant woman’s/birth partner’s wishes and needs
• Knowledge of the birth process
• Developing calmness and confidence
• Bonding with the baby / communication
• Self-calming
• Recognizing and deepening (anchoring) the birth partner’s states of self-hypnosis
• Using the journey to the birth location to support the birth process
